Book Review: Nico by Evan Grace

Nico Banner

3.5 Stars ★★★☆☆

I gave this book 3.5 stars because it is a story about second chances, forgiveness and redemption. I know I am always up for that. I have to warn you though, this story portrays cheating and drug use. I for one am not a fan of cheating so I would not recommend you reading it if you are not a fan either. I did finish the book in order to give an honest review.

Nico is an italian smooth talker and Jill is a very independent single mother. Aside from the cheating and drug use their story started rocky and unexpectedly Nico had some very sweet moments. On Nico’s part yes, he cheated and had a drug problem, but he realized he had issues that needed to be dealt with in order to be with Jill and a daddy to Nicola (their baby girl).  I appreaciated the fact that this is not a perfect love story. In real life love is raw and messy and we make mistakes. Kudos to Evan for portraying these issues and making a flawed man take the road to redemption and love.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
